Four tramping club members walked to Mountain House today. We started off in 4° temps but slowly peeled off the layers as we climbed the Gentle Annie track. We stopped at Rocky Lookout for a quick brew, checked out the amazing views of Holdsworth and Jumbo.
We continued on to Mountain House shelter for our early lunch stop. There were a few others out for a winter walk. We returned via a detour on the old track to the 801 HP. By this time the sun was out and the goblin forest looked great. We continued down the Gentle Annie track.
On the trip were Robyn, Margaret M, Katrina and Sandra B. We missed seeing Ben, Vinnie and Bob who walked to Jumbo hut and returned earlier than us.
