Although there was a little drizzle on the way to the Holdsworth carpark, it was fine when we arrived. So we set off on an anti-clockwise tramp around Murray’s track. We had a quick snack stop before heading up the hill. Once we gained some height we had some misty rain so eventually raincoats were hunted out. By the time we got to the Gentle Annie track it was time for a hot drink and a snack. Then back down to the carpark along the main Gentle Annie Track which was muddy and slippery in places. Although there was a little rain it wasn’t overly cold. Some of us stayed for lunch in the shelter at the carpark whilst others were heading back into town for work.
